ABOUT ABOUT

What are you thankful for? Local business and community leaders will answer that question led by former Cleveland Browns and Holy Spirit High School running back William Green of Atlantic City.

The Wimberg Family Foundation will again sponsor the Greater Egg Harbor Chamber of Commerce third annual Community Thanksgiving Breakfast 7-8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24 in the Tuscany Ballroom at Tuscany House, Renault Winery, 72 Bremen Ave, Egg Harbor City. Tickets are $15 per person and are $120 for a table of 10 people.

Green will serve as the keynote speaker during a morning that will gather Community leaders from Galloway Township, Hammonton, Mullica Township, Hamilton Township, Port Republic and Egg Harbor City will give thanks for the successes during the past year. This year, the Egg Harbor City Fire Company will be honored as organization of the year and World Class Flowers will be recognized as the business of the year.

“The breakfast has been a huge success for the past two years and it creates a great chance for people to catch up with friends and get in the holiday spirit during Thanksgiving week,” said Chamber President James Schroeder of Hammonton. “Times are tough for people in our communities but there is plenty to be thankful for. This is a time of thanksgiving and discussion on how we can work together to improve the lives of our entire community.”

“We’re proud to recognize two longtime Egg Harbor City establishments, the Egg Harbor City Fire Company and World Class Flowers and are happy to welcome William Green,” Schroeder said. “The Chamber hopes groups of friends, coworkers, clubs and other community groups will reserve a table or part of a table to enjoy old friendships and create new contacts.”

Reservations are required. Call James Schroeder 609-270-7590 or email [email protected]
